IPA guide

When a machine is programmed to think like a human, that's artificial intelligence. Your smartphone's ability to translate text from one language to another is an example of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence, which is often referred to as AI, is a branch of computer science that focuses on things like robotics and machine learning, or programming computers to behave more like people. The term is also used for the ability of a warehouse robot, a driverless car, a chatbot, or your smartphone to perform tasks once only done by humans. Machines with artificial intelligence can learn and solve problems, acting on available information to improve over time.
